Then we do not treat that chair the usual way. Sometimes a milder cleaner or dry-only work does the trick, sometimes the advice is not to wet-clean it at all. Either way we check with you first and you do not pay for work that was not done.
Is there a way to check my chairs for colour bleeding before you come?
Yes. Lightly dampen a white cloth, press it on a hidden spot for half a minute and see whether any colour transfers. If it does, mention that in your request. Please do not try a cleaning product on the visible parts before we have been.
Why test when the fabric looks sturdy?
Because you cannot see from the outside how a fabric has been dyed. Dark and bright colours can bleed even on a strong weave. A few minutes of testing stops a whole set of chairs from turning blotchy.
