In a loft converted into a bedroom the insulation is the point that keeps returning on a deep clean. Where the joints are not fully sealed, glass or mineral wool dust comes into the room through the gaps, and that is a different kind of dust from ordinary house dust.

What is included

How we do it

How do I recognise insulation dust?
It glints greyish in the light and feels different from house dust: finer and slightly coarser to the touch. If you see it along the joint between the ceiling slope and the knee wall, it comes from the insulation.
Can you clean the insulation?

Is that dust harmful?
