What do I do straight after spilling milky coffee?
Blot with a dry cloth or kitchen roll, working from the outside inwards so the stain does not spread. Skip hot water and washing-up liquid, as that leaves a soap ring which later attracts dirt. The less you do, the more we can still lift out.
Does an old milk stain smell sour?
