Upholstery cleaning in Amsterdam

A home office calls for a pairing that upholstery cleaning in Amsterdam often overlooks: the desk chair, the rug beneath it and the reading chair in the corner. The desk chair sits under you the whole working day, and its seat and armrests show it sooner than any other piece of furniture.

What is included

  • The fabric seat and backrest of the desk chair
  • Armrests and the edge where your hands rest all day
  • The rug or fabric mat under the desk
  • A reading armchair or upholstered stool in the same room
  • The workspace spared: desk and equipment stay dry

How we do it

We roll the desk chair away from the desk and treat it with little moisture, because the gas lift and the mechanism underneath must not get wet. The rug under the desk follows, with the desk clear enough to reach beneath it.

What you get

Our specialists are insured and vetted and work carefully around cables and equipment. They bring their own machines and eco-friendly products. Take the laptop, monitor and papers off the desk yourself, and we can work freely around it.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Can I work again that afternoon?
At the desk yes, on the cleaned chair preferably not straight away. Use a kitchen chair for the rest of the day so the seat dries undisturbed instead of you pressing a damp patch into it.
Do you do mesh chairs as well?
A mesh backrest can usually be included, although there it is mainly about dust and skin oil rather than deep stains. Leather or faux leather on a desk chair needs a different approach, which we say beforehand.
Will the castor tracks stay in the rug?
Grey dirt along the castor path usually gets a good deal lighter. Pile flattened or worn by years of rolling does not stand up again, because that is wear rather than dirt.
