Can the buttons come loose?
Buttons that were already loose can, and we point those out beforehand. A button that is properly fixed does not come loose through our treatment, because we do not pull on it and keep the thread dry. Refixing loose buttons is work for an upholsterer.
Why is the back often dirtier than the seat?
Because heads, hair and hands keep touching it and the folds around the buttons hold on to that dirt. A smooth back releases dirt more easily. That is why we spend most time on a buttoned back.
Can a velvet buttoned sofa be done too?
Yes, with extra attention to the pile and the folds. Velvet and buttons together call for the most care. Show it to us in your video and we will allow for it in the planning.
